OJ Mann has provided generator maintenance on our Generac for 5 years. We have found them to be courteous, professional and responsive. Recently, the Generac had an error code on it. This was outside business hours, so I called their emergency number and asked if a tech could be dispatched that evening. The on-call tech was able to walk me through resetting the alarm and successfully testing the generator. I would definitely recommend OJ Mann for your generator needs.

I’ve had a Generac ‘Core Power’ back-up generator for about 10 years. The engine threw a rod while still on warranty. The authorized service co. replaced the motor, but took two call backs to get it running right. Sometime thereafter, the electronic controller went bad to the tune of $ several hundred. Ever since, the unit failed to reliably start up on its weekly exercise cycle. During a power outage last winter while I was away, it failed to start. Fortunately, a friend came by and got it going. I was about to give up and buy a new one, probably $10 to 12K all-in but decided to give it one more try and called O J Mann. Frank showed up as scheduled and went through all the known problem areas. Turned out to be a $30 solenoid. He continued to check the entire system, did a little fine tuning and voila — I can now leave for a week or two in January without worrying about frozen pipes or worse.
